The Siltec PS5AP High Capacity Scale is well-suited for use in shipping and receiving departments and as a portable bariatric scale in a home or clinic because of its stable, mounted display. The slanted display sits 35 inches high by steel tubing to allow for an easier readout. The readout has large, bright red LED digits, 0.6 inches high, for easy visibility. The display indicates EEEE when the weight exceeds full capacity. An automatic zero tracking restores true zero after each weighing.
The platform is a heavy gauge steel corrugated sheet and supports a one piece membrane keyboard. The Siltec PS5AP has a weight capacity of 500 lbs with a 0.5 lb graduation (225 kg with a 0.2 kg graduation). The PS5AP is powered by AC or six C batteries and includes an AC adapter and built-in battery charger.
