The Detecto 6876 Chair Scale is designed as a seated/standing scale with a seat that flips up and down for weighing. The 6876 scale is equipped with retractable armrests for ease in transferring patients to the scale and to accommodate patients with casts. The Detecto 6876 is lightweight and easily moved on built-in wheels. A flip-up footrest also allows for ease of patient access.
The scale features a safety stop to prevent accidental tipping. The 6876 Chair Scale displays weight readings in lbs or kg. BMI is easily calculated at the touch of a button. A lock/release key allows for viewing of the weight after the patient steps off the scale.
Other features include a highly accurate weight display with On/Off, Zero buttons, and an automatic shut off. The weight capacity is 600 lbs with a 0.2 lb graduation (270 kg with a 0.1 kg graduation). The 6876 is powered by 6 AA alkaline batteries (included) or an optional AC adapter.
