Bed / Patient Lift Scales: PBS-1200

The PBS 1200 Under Bed Scale has a durable, all-steel frame that easily adjusts to convert most medical beds into a weigh bed. There are no tools required for assembly. A patient can easily roll on or off the scale without ever having to be removed from the bed to be weighed. The built-in ramps let one person set up the scale easily.

With a large, back-lit display that has battery back-up, the patient can be accurately weighed without being disturbed at night. To ensure the safety and security of the patient, the PBS1200 features a Bed Exit Alarm which can be set to alert the staff if a patient gets out of bed. The unique hold function allows users to put anything on the bed (i.e. blanket) with no interference to the weighing process.

The weight capacity is 1200 lbs with a 0.2 lb graduation (544 kg with a 0.2 kg graduation). The PBS1200 is powered by an AC to DC regulated switching wall adapter and a rechargeable 12VDC backup battery for emergency use only.
