Other features include an auto zero, auto shut off, and readings in pounds and kilograms. The 8432CH Digital Pediatric Scale has a weight capacity of 40 lbs with a 0.5 oz graduation (17.5 kg with a 0.01 kg graduation). The 8432CH is powered by 6 AA Alkaline Ni-Cad or NiMH batteries (not included) or an optional AC power supply.
